Sharron Lovell is a British photographer currently based in Asia and represented by Polaris Images.

Travelling with a camera and of late an additional audio recorder she attempts to cover some of the less represented sides of China. Sharron has also been assigned to other Asian destinations and documented stories such as Kabul’s first democratic elections, the caste inherited sex trade in Pakistan and Islam in Northwest China.

Her images have been published widely in the international press and she continues to try to make some sense of an elusive and changing China. Clients include: Adbusters Magazine, Berlingske, The Ecologist, The Economist, The Irish Times, Geo Italia, The Guardian, National Geographic publication: Inside China, Newsweek, Der Trouw and The San Francisco Chronicle.
